Despite the market uncertainly arising from Britain’s decision to leave the European Union, new findings revealed in Plimsoll’s latest Road Haulage Analysis suggests confidence is on the rise.
Findings show that 69% of Road Hauliers have seen their sales increase in the latest year – with many of these fast-growing firms delivering a healthy profit return.
Further results from the Road Haulage Analysis show:
On average, each company has seen their sales improve by 4%
The average sales per employee is £114, 000 – however some trailblazing firms are reporting sales per employee of £170, 000
239 companies have been rated as financially Strong
However, it seems that Road Hauliers are not alone. Other sub sectors in the transport industry are seeing an improvement in market conditions
